I-26 Connecter StoriesIn early May of 2009, I was approached by a local journal in Asheville, North Carolina to document the effects of re-building a major interchange here in Asheville. Working with other photographers we interviewed residents that would be directly affected by moving the interstate in our city. Depending on what plan the City and State decide upon, more than twenty homes may be demolished in order to add an eight lane interstate and concrete sound barrier.
The audio is from actual residents of the neighborhood being directly affected by this decision.
