Kerrith (Bennie Man)
Kerrith (Bennie Man)
Kerrith (Beanie Man) is extremely talented musically and artistically. He loves art projects, playing recorders and percussion instruments, and dancing. Beanie Man is active and wants to be in the middle of the action. He is innately curious and loves to have things shown and explained to him. His receptive language is very good and responds to structure and activity directions very well, although they may need to be repeated and reinforced. His expressive language is sometimes unclear because of speech difficulty, so you may have to ask him to repeat words. Beanie Man is very helpful to staff and loves to be given a job to do. He responds very well to praise and affection, and loves to give and get hugs. Beanie Man will often lapse into gestures and may need encouragement to use his words. Beanie Man tends to get very sad when visitors leave and may need an extra hug and a special 1:1 goodbye.
