Joel

Joel is incredibly curious and tactile. He wants to touch everything and everyone, especially new items that are shown to him. Occasionally he will attempt to put things in his mouth. He can be destructive of property and tends to grab at items people bring - he requires firm, clear, and consistently reinforced boundaries. He loves affection and hugs but sometimes need structuring for being too rough, pinching and keeping his hands to himself. Joel has a super strong grip! He loves playing with people and being a part in gatherings and activities. It is very helpful to channel some of his physical energy into physical games so he has an outlet. Joel loves music and adores both swinging on his own and being pushed on the swing. Joel is a giggler and a handful!
