Anthony
Anthony
Anthony is quick and alert. He requires constant monitoring, especially surrounding food as he will grab any food within reach with lightening speed. During feeding time it is important for him to not be in close proximity to other children’s food. It is good for Anthony to be out on the grounds and interact with people, escorted 1:1 by someone who can take him out, hold his hand, stay engaged with him, monitor his actions, and then walk him back to the Kiwanis House. Anthony should not be unchaperoned when outside of the Kiwanis House. Anthony’s receptive language is weak and he does not always respond to verbal structure, thus he will require physical structure or to be quickly removed from the action when he acts out or gets overstimulated. Staff is extremely helpful in providing guidance to visitors on how to best engage with Anthony.
