Christopher
Christopher
Christopher has a winning smile and gentle nature. He loves to meet people and be engaged, even though he does not speak. He likes to watch the action from the porch of the Fray House. It is good for him to get out and about, especially if there is an activity going on, but he will need significant assistance walking and he moves very slowly. Walking between two people who are assisting him is the easiest way for him to walk. Christopher does everything slowly – moving, eating, responding, and processing information. It takes him a while to facilitate movement when told to do something. Patience and encouragement work very well with Christopher. He can feed himself but he loves the interaction and individual attention of being fed to. It is unclear how much Christopher understands but he loves to be talked to, listening to music, and even the simple pleasure of company and having someone sit with him and hold his hand.
