Fillman
Fillman is loveable and affectionate, with a great desire to connect. He eats up attention and affection and loves to laugh. He uses his peripheral vision to see better, so he may turn his head away to see you better. Fillman has quite good receptive language so even though he does not speak words he can engage and understand much of what is said to him. He often stays on the Fray House porch, but it is good to encourage him to get out, especially to be involved in or to watch an activity elsewhere on the grounds. He walks slowly and because of his vision difficulties may not see objects in his path, so steering him away from things that could cause him to trip helps when walking around. He loves to build relationships and get hugs, even though he cannot fully wrap his arms around you to reciprocate. He has a good memory for people. Fillman can be a wallflower but absolutely blossoms when attention is showered on him.
