Kerry Ann

Kerry Ann is a true music lover, and she especially enjoys watching live music being played. Holding her hand while you dance to music is a great way to include her since she is wheelchair bound. She has been known to join in if there is an extra shaker or other small hand percussion available. Kerry Ann adores dressing up, having her nails and hair done, and being pampered. She loves to laugh and giggles quite easily. Kerry Ann bonds very strongly and she communicates so much affection through her eye contact. She loves to be hugged and gives great hugs and kisses herself. She is able to speak single words, but you have to lean close to hear as she speaks softly. Her receptive language is excellent and she just loves sitting and listening to the chatter of conversation and being included, as she understands all of what is said around her. Although Kerry Ann loves girl-time, she is quite the socializer and gets along well with everyone. The most important thing is to make sure Kerry Ann feels included and that her wheelchair is rolled to where the action is so she can fully participate.
