William

William wins people over immediately with a radiant smile, charisma, positive energy, and endearing nature. William is easy to love and loves easily and generously. He is pure fun in whatever activity you are doing – he loves sports, art, and music. You name it and William wants to dive in and experience it! He is bright, funny, and empathic. William is extremely observant and is a great source of information about the goings on at Westhaven. His receptive language is fantastic but articulation of some sounds is difficult for him. He is a great conversationalist and likes to ask a lot of questions, it just takes a little patience and sometimes asking him to repeat things and he does just fine. He is well connected to many of the kids at Westhaven and often visits kids in their beds when their wheelchair is in use by someone else. William loves sunglasses, looking cool, painting, playing cricket, listening and dancing to music, showing people around the grounds, making friends, making jokes, and getting and giving hugs. William has an excellent sense of humor and an endearing glint of mischievousness in his eyes. William overflows with talent, interest, and curiosity and should be involved in all activities and given leadership and responsibility whenever possible.
