Julianne
Julianne
Juliannecannot walk without assistance and usually stays at the table on the porch of the Viera House. It can be difficult at times to know what she understands and observes, as she does not speak or use facial expressions. Julianne does respond to her name and engaging her in eye contact is important in connecting with her. She sometimes uses gesturing but that can be hard to interpret. The staff can be a great source of help if you need help communicating with Julianne. A great way to engage Julianne and watch her blossom is through art. She loves to color and will do so for hours. It is good to hold art activities on the porch of the Viera House so Juliannecan participate.
