Tamika

Tamika loves people and adores being serenaded, as she is a big music lover. Tamika cannot see things unless they are directly in her field of vision, so people need to position themselves accordingly and hold items up for show right above her head. She has a georgeous smile and remembers people’s faces. Tamika spend a lot of time in bed and can get lonely. She cannot participate because of lack of mobility and an inability to speak but she loves to be included by watching activities and should have opportunities to see things up close when possible. She can be put in a special wheelchair that allows her to sit up and see things better, but she is not comfortable in it for long. Tamika loves to be read to, have her nails done, get dressed up, and get massaged. Tamika is one of the oldest residents at Westhaven.
