Janelle

Janelle is lost in her own world and prefers to be left to her own either on her bed or in a quiet corner on the grounds. She builds incredible objects out of found items (usually plastic trash), and connects them together to make her unique creations. Janelle can get very agitated and overstimulated when approached or touched by strangers; or if someone tries to touch her creations. When this happens, she either cries out, covers her face and rocks; or she immediately retreats to a place where she can be alone. It is best not to risk agitating Janelle and to consult staff for guidance when interacting with Janelle.
